Upgrade OpenWRT on ArgTek ARG-1211 (China Model: GM5-1211)

I have used ARG-1211 for about 5 years. All the time using DD-WRT firmware from the Argtek site. But about a month ago, the router stop working and need to manual reboot and all the setting was gone. Maybe because there was lightning at the building. After rebooting the router, the wifi signal was unstable but everything else is great.

I used the DD-WRT firmware because the OpenWRT on ArgTek site used Chinese Language so I was affraid doing something bad at the time.

After the lightning incident I tried to change the firmware to OpenWRT following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKK5mH4n9U0

And I have upgraded ARG-1211, which has the same board as Asus RT-N13U B1, to OpenWRT 18.06.4 the current version at the time of writing.

From the ArgTek site we can download OpenWRT firmware but the firmware is so old.

After flashing the OpenWRT from ArgTek site (the language is Chinese) I have to use google translate to search for page to upgrade new firmware from http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/18.06.4/targets/ramips/rt305x/openwrt-18.06.4-ramips-rt305x-rt-n13u-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
